We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and organized Social Media Analyst to join our growing team in Whippany, NJ



In this position, you will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of the company's social media properties for its Suburban Renewables and Homesential brands. You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

  • Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling

  • Assist with crisis management, negative reviews, and news communications

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML)

  • Update and maintain blog posts across company websites as well as create website landing pages as needed

  • Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging

  • Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles

  • Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar

  • Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting

  • Thorough understanding of social media management and strategy, as well as various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, and social network advertising

  • Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

  • Past experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management a plus

  • Proficient in: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress

  • Able to create and edit photos and videos and utilize creative tools to create content for social channels

  • Past experience campaign results reporting and web analytics a plus
