Essential Functions:

  • Operates, monitors, and responds to the access control, fire, life safety, surveillance, and communications systems at the security operations center and/or tenant property security area during routine and crisis situations

  • Communicates with team members, vendors, contractors, governmental first responders, tenants and the general public to maintain a safe and secure workplace

  • Controls and authorizes all contractor, vendor, and off-hour entry into the corporate campus, branches, and associated tenant properties and 24-hour entry into the security operations center Composes and maintains accurate incident/accident reports and documentation

  • Performs assigned site risk assessments, building lock and unlocks, terminated team member escorts, emergency response and regular walk-through to identify security and safety hazards and corporate policy violations

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalency

  • One year of experience or training in safety and/or security

  • Experience in a security operations center or similar environment preferred

  • CPR/AED certificate within the first 6 months of hire

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to perform CPR/AED as first responder

  • Computer knowledge and keyboarding skills

  • Excellent telephone etiquette, customer service and communication skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Knowledge of the following tools preferred: P2000 Security System, Metasys Building Operation System, Notifier and EST Fire Panels, Milestone Surveillance System, and Continuum Security Systems preferred

  • Able to maintain complete confidentiality of corporate information and security protocols

  • Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays up to 10 hour shifts
