TV Media Planning Manager - #8483985
The TV Media Planning Manager, Marketing Campaign Management plans, recommends, leads, and implements marketing communication programs using a variety of media channels, primarily focusing on acquisition television media designed to drive sales and awareness for the organization's products and/or services. This associates work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The TV Media Planning Manager, Marketing Campaign Management identifies target audiences and specific messages, channels, content and tactics; coordinates end-to-end campaign life-cycle. Maintains campaign-related documentation (e.g., media plans, creative executions, etc.). Develops and maintains budgets to oversee costs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns. Ability to understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Identify target audiences and specific messages, channels, content and tactics
Coordinate end-to-end campaign life-cycle
Support media test strategy, set-up, tracking and analysis
Manage internal and external reports (daily, weekly) to check for accuracy, identify trends and provide insights
Maintain budget to oversee costs
Build relationships with internal and external partners/resources
Recommend and evaluate processes and procedures to gain efficiencies
Coordinate weekly update/meeting and presentation content
Maintain campaign-related documentation (e.g., media plans, creative executions, etc.)
Develop and maintain budgets to oversee costs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns
While this role is remote, candidates that reside within 50 miles of Louisville, KY or Chicago, IL will be expected to be in office as needed for in person collaboration once CDC restrictions are lifted. All others will remain virtual/remote.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
3 years of progressive experience in Marketing or Media
Experience in Strategic Media Planning
Familiar with TV marketing and how to plan them
Strong attention to detail, writing, and communication stills
Experience Budgeting and overseeing target metrics
Possess the ability to write queries, create forms, reports and documents in Access and Excel
Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Located in Louisville, KY or Chicago (preferred)
Experienced with Adobe and/or Google Adwords
Prior health insurance industry experience

Based on current guidance from the CDC, local and state governments, and Humana leadership related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have extended travel restrictions until further notice. The policy will be reassessed as the situation warrants. Once these restrictions are lifted this role may require quarterly travel depending on business needs.
