This position is responsible for providing high end support to the Loan Workout RMs who manage client relationships or the REO portfolio. Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding bank products, policies and procedures to be in a position to guide and assist the Loan Workout RMs through various internal processes.

  • Promptly responding to inquiries from external clients and internal associates to ensure service quality expectations and responsiveness is being met or exceeded.

  • Facilitating loan closings and renewals with Loan Ops and assisting with clearing any document related exceptions.

  • Compiling necessary information to open or maintain deposit accounts.

  • Obtaining necessary approvals and providing information to Loan Ops to ensure that all loan activity is accurately reflected on the loan system

  • Ensuring that required IRS reporting is accurately completed.

  • Compiling materials for both internal and external audits and maintaining records for SOX reporting.

  • Compiling information and providing monthly reports to Finance.

  • Ensuring that all REO properties are accurately tracked and confirming that all policy related issues are addressed prior to transfer.

  • Ensuring that insurance and taxes are appropriately maintained and tracked for all REO properties.

  • Reviewing and paying all REO and Loan Workout expenses.



  • 2-3 years of banking experience preferred.

  • Strong PC software application skills including MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently without constant managerial oversight.

  • Strong verbal communication skills that include the ability to deal effectively with challenging situations.
