Primary duties and responsibilities:




  1. Help the taquería leader prepare authentic Mexican dishes and any other necessary task.




  2. Keep the line presentable, fresh, well decorated and full.




  3. Prepare the sauces, place them in the salsa bar and prepare the fresh waters.




  4. Elaborate the preparation prior to production.




  5. Provide excellent customer service.




  6. Implement the cleaning and sanitizing guidelines established by the Health Department.




  7. Clean, give rotation to the products and organize the refrigerator.




  8. Ensure that all condiments and cutlery are available to the clients.



  9. Maintain the cleanliness of the taquería area, including the salsa bar and tables.


10.Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards.


11.Report faulty equipment and hazards to management.


12.PERFORM ANY OTHER TASK ASSIGNED BY THE STORE MANAGER.

Minimum Requirements:




  1. Ability to read at an eighth grade level.




  2. Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).




  3. Knowledge of the weight and volume measurements.



  4. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.


Desirable Requirements:




  1. Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish and English.




  2. High school graduation or GED.



  3. Health certification for food handling.


Physical Requirements:




  1. Lift a minimum of 30 pounds.




  2. Ability to stand for long periods of time.




  3. Ability to flex, kneel, bend and stoop.




  4. Ability to work in different temperatures (hot and cold).



  5. Ability to do repetitive movements
